Alex is a senior majoring in Sociology. Recently returned from a year in the Nordic countries and a summer in Russia, his senior thesis research is on the social psychology of fashion. After graduating next semester, he hopes to attend graduate school in Sociology. |

Samantha is a sophomore majoring in Political Science with a focus in international relations and global security. Her main area of interest is Latin America, especially Brazil, and is planning on studying abroad there next year. She also studies Portuguese and hopes to one day find a career where she can utilize the language. In her free time she enjoys baking, reading, and attending Badger football games. |
Sophia Jones Editor |
Sophia is a junior completing her undergraduate degree in Communication Arts and Art History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she will graduate in 2014. In 2012, in correlation with her studies and through the International Academic Program, IAP, she completed a semester abroad at the University of Westminster. In her spare time in Madison, she co-hosts the weekly radio show El Monde E Musiv, a world music program, on WSUM 91.7 FM Madison, WI, Student Radio. Outside of school, she enjoys practicing yoga, reading, and cooking. |
